Cameron Young doesn't just win anymore — he dominates. The 28-year-old sealed his third PGA TOUR victory in just 14 starts this season, shooting a sizzling 19-under 269 at Trump National Doral's Blue Monster Course outside Miami, Florida to claim the Cadillac Championship by a commanding six strokes.

Young went wire-to-wire, leading by one, five, and six strokes after each of the first three rounds before cruising home with a 4-under 68 on Sunday, carding three birdies on each side despite two late bogeys. The performance marked the lowest aggregate score at the Blue Monster since architect Gil Hanse overhauled the course ahead of the 2014 edition. He joins Justin Rose as the only wire-to-wire winners this season, with Young's margin of victory second only to Rose's seven-stroke win at Torrey Pines.

"It's easily the lowest aggregate score since architect Gil Hanse overhauled it ahead of the 2014 edition," Young said, acknowledging the significance of his historic performance on the redesigned layout.

The Wake Forest University product pocketed $3.6 million from the event's $20-million prize fund, along with 700 FedExCup points, lifting him to third place in the season standings. But the numbers only tell part of the story. A year ago this week, Young sat outside the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Sunday's triumph will propel him to a career-best-tying No. 3 in the world — a remarkable ascent fueled by victories at the Wyndham Championship and THE PLAYERS Championship.

Scottie Scheffler finished solo second at 13-under 275, earning $2.16 million and reclaiming the FedExCup lead. Ben Griffin took third place at 12-under 276. Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa were among the notable names who made the cut at the Signature Event, the fifth of the season.

Young's trajectory has silenced any lingering doubts. After going winless in his first 90 starts as a PGA TOUR member, he has extinguished the narrative that he was among the best without a title. Now, with three wins in two months of action, he's undeniably among the best, period.

"After going winless in his first 90 starts as a PGA TOUR member, Young not only has extinguished the narrative that he's among the best without a title, he's now deservedly considered among the best, period."

The three-time winner in 2026 is scheduled to return to competition at this week's Truist Championship, where he'll look to extend his remarkable run.
