Giant sequoia clones from 3,000-year-old trees are taking root in Detroit

Clones of ancient giant sequoias, some over 3,000 years old, are being planted across Detroit on vacant lots. The project by Archangel Ancient Tree Archive and Arboretum Detroit aims to boost urban resilience and rewild the city.
